A Letter From Our Administrator

Dear Family,

We are so excited to partner in your child’s educational and spiritual journey with you for school year 2024-2025. King’s Christian School (KCS) is a private school operated by King’s Chapel Wasilla and dedicated to the following mission:

King’s Christian School Alaska serves as an equipping center, providing an excellent faith-infused education for supporting students as they grow and experience life with people, power, and purpose.

At KCSA, our purpose is based on Proverbs 22:6, providing an excellent faith-based education for students. We are committed to partnering with you in support of your child(ren). Well-rounded instruction and training will include spiritual, academic, physical, and social to help your child mature in all areas. Family nights are planned throughout the year. We encourage you to get involved in volunteering for your child’s classroom and attending family night activities.

In our inaugural year (2024-2025), we will serve students in Preschool-3 and Preschool 4 classrooms (three and four-year-olds), Kindergarten, and First through Third Grades. We will grow into a fully functioning PK-12 Christian School over the coming years. Looking ahead, we plan to serve additional grade levels for school year 2025-2026!

Please read through the King’s Christian School Alaska Family Handbook to familiarize yourself with policies, practices, schedules, communication plans, and other information that will help us have a successful year together. As part of the enrollment packet, you will be required to signify that you have read the Family Handbook by signing an acknowledgement page.

Our first King’s Christian School family gathering will be held in the church lobby on August 15th to meet, greet, and answer any questions you may have. At that time, please plan to bring in your child’s school supplies (list is included in the back of the handbook and on the school webpage) so we can organize materials in preparation for our first day of school on August 19th.

Thank you for choosing King’s Christian School Alaska. Reach out if you have questions. We look forward to providing an excellent education for your child in a caring and faith-based environment.
In Christ,

Susy McKenzie
Administrator, King’s Christian School Alaska
